Due to the lateral position on the board and the asymmetric movements, the snowboard is or can be an ideal opportunity for winter sports for many physically handicapped people. With small tools and the necessary KNOWHOW it is easy to learn or to re-learn.
Since Sochi 2014, snowboarding is part of the program at the Paralympics and for many with handicap a new sporting goal.
